You will need a car as the house is very rural.
Approximately 7.5hrs drive from Calais avoiding Paris.
Take the Eurostar to Paris. Then take the TGV from Paris Bercy to Montlucon or Clermont Ferrand. Car hire is available in both towns.
To Limoges (2hrs drive) or Clermond Ferrand (1hrs drive) from the house, car hire is available at each airport.
